Len Kaplan is US Portfolio Manager for the Opportunistic Investing Group. Mr. Kaplan has seventeen years of experience in global property and company investment with Prudential. Mr. Kaplan joined the Opportunistic Investing Group in 1998 and has participated in the completion of corporate real estate transactions totaling approximately $1 billion of equity capital in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. From 1995 through 1997, Mr. Kaplan underwrote and negotiated property and company transactions in Asia. In 1994, Mr. Kaplan was a small-cap equity analyst for Prudential mutual funds in London and the US. Mr. Kaplan was a member of PREI’s Advanced Management Development Program from 1990-1993.
Mr. Kaplan currently serves on the board of directors of several portfolio companies.
Mr. Kaplan was a Henry Rutgers Scholar, and earned a Bachelor of Science (Phi Beta Kappa, Highest Honors) degree in Economics from Rutgers College. Mr. Kaplan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and an MBA as a Palmer Scholar from The Wharton School . He is a member of the CFA Institute and NYSSA.
