Using data and information collected through environmental assessments of more than 200 buildings, PREI's Global Sustainability Committee created a proprietary manual of Sustainable Standard Operating Guidelines© (SSOGs), which take a bottom-line approach to identify efficient solutions for lighting, water, temperature settings, management of vacant space and self-assessments for potential environmental certifications. The guidelines enable property management teams to quickly identify cost-effective methods to reduce each property's environmental impact without performing detailed costly analyses for every project. |
